Welcome to a day of feasting, fighting and merriment!

Our lovely covered space will be host to three tournaments, and our indoor spaces will be open to multiple activities. We have rooms for dancing, gaming and projects. Tables and chairs will be plentiful, so feel free to bring your project.

Competitions and Combat:

At 10am we will have a Rapier Tournament to choose Briaroak’s next Rapier Defender. “To remind us all that our art is one designed around not only dueling but also civilian self defense, the combatants shall begin with sheathed swords and off-hands. The combatants will start in the center of the list field, sword hand on the opposing fighter’s shoulder. The fight shall begin at the Marshal’s command. To prevent any uncouth knifings, swords must be drawn before any off-hands can be brought into play. This is a challenge not only of skill, but of nerve and boldness. The tournament will be a single round robin, choose your pairings. May you come armed with a swift hand and sharp wits!” ~ Lord Samwell Langdon, Rapier Defender of Briaroak.

At noon we will have a Cut and Thrust tournament

At 2pm the Carlos Memorial tournament will test our heavy combatants

During the day will be a half-dozen largess competition hosted by the Shire of Briaroak. To participate, please make 6 of the same items. The winner to be decided by populous vote. Items are then given to Their Highnesses to use as largess.
