Please join the Barony of Dragons’ Laire for a Joyous Yule! There will be music, dancing, games, table decoration contest, round table discussions, and informal classes.
Site Opens: 10 AM
Site Closes: 9 PM
Lunch: 12 PM
Feast: 6 PM (subject to change due to Court schedule)
Countess Elisabeth will emcee a Medieval Fashion Show! So dress in your best. The fashion show will be right before Court in the afternoon.
A light lunch will be available for donation.
The feast hall (lower level) is separate from the event hall (upper level). Both levels are accessible from parking areas outside the building, internally via stairs.
Feast attendees will be able to set up their tables upon arrival. Before the feast, judges will view the table decorations, and the winning table will win a prize. Large groups are encouraged to contact the Autocrat to reserve sufficient space.
After the activities of the day, we will enjoy a feast prepared by Countess Elisabeth’s Team. Be prepared to pack your dirty dishes out, dish washing services will not be available.
The site is wet. Attendees may bring their own alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.
Pre-reg for feast will be required, for site fee not required, but suggested. The deadline for pre-reg is November 12.
Off-board seats will be available. Please notify us if you are staying for feast and are off board, so that we plan for enough seating.
If a child is not eating the feast, but needs a seat, please let us know.
Site: $10 for adults, 17 & under free. $5 NMR.
Feast: $10 for adults, plus $10 for youth or children who will be eating an adult portion.

Feast Menu
After the activities of the day, we will enjoy a feast prepared by Countess Elisabeth’s Team. The feast is primarily Elizabethan England in inspiration, with a couple of fashionable French touches thrown in…
On the table–dried figs, prosciutto, bread, cheese
First course–Saulcisses en potage (homemade sausages with apples, onions, spices and butter)
Compound sallet (Elizabethan green salad)
A Dish of Rice (rice cooked with almond milk, spices, and honey.)
A Soteltie–This will be presented to the head table and exhibited around the hall for everyone to see and taste.
Second Course–Roast pork basted with verjuice a la Varenne
Turnips in mustard sauce
Roasted mushrooms
A Soteltie–As above
Third Course–An assortment of sweets, including Banbury cake, gingerbread, marzipan, and more.
Those with food allergies and/or those who do not eat pork are encouraged to contact the head cook (gulesandor@gmail.com) for ingredient lists and requests for substitutions. We will make every effort to accommodate. However, we must hear from you no later than November 28.
