LIONS GATE BARONIAL BANQUET

Hurroo Hurroo! The hunter’s horns echo from the hills of the
Black Forest, and the tables are set for a Feast for Lions!

As the cold winds begin their autumnal whistle down from
Northern lands, let us enjoy an evening of hearty food and
convivial conversation, in the warmth and hospitality of the Baron
of Lions Gate’s keep! With delicious viands brought forth from the
woods and streams, with rich meats in savoury sauces, and tempting
pastries, breads and cheeses, let us celebrate the success of the
hunt and bounty of the harvest with the joy of friends and family
and most excellent company!

A menu drawn from Bavarian, Schwarzwald and Swiss roots, with an
emphasis on game meats and harvest fare, this feast is designed to
warm you to your core, and give you both rich flavour and a filling
repast!

Recipe testing commences shortly; all interested cooks and
culinary mavens should contact HL Briana forthwith to help with
this process, pre-cooking, and/or kitchen duties day of. Skilled
Butlers with an eye to making foods look as good as they taste are
also much desired: training in this art is available. A Head Server
with an open mind is sought, and there are places for up to twelve
Servers.

Some dishes already decided upon include: a Fish Day Coddle;
Creamy Leek Soup; Brezeln (Pretzel Buns hot from the oven);
Zweibelkuchen (a Bacon and Onion Tart); Hot Wursten and Medieval
Mustards; Hazelhens; Bierrocks; Spiced Boar and Apples; Venison in
Berry Sauce, complemented by many soft and hard cheeses, various
breads, fresh rich butter, diverse sweet and spiced nuts, several
kinds of salat, and comfits of fruit jelly.

It is to be hoped that many gentles will come to partake of this
most excellent Feast, to celebrate the bounty of our Barony!

We are in need of a Head Server, as well as set up and take down
crew.

Doors open at 5pm, dinner starts at 6pm.

* Feast and Site registration $35 (75 tickets available)
* Site registration only for those working, $15 (limited
supply) 
* Off board $15 (limited supply)
* Minors Feast fee: $10 (included in the 75 available tickets)
MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT OF $5 APPLIES TO ALL SITE
