of Solstice, with Winter’s Chill Breath challenging the very
existence of life, the drums of battle are heard in the depths. As
the Mighty armies of An Tir sharpen their swords and strengthen
their armor, the Artisans and Bards of this noble Kingdom march
forth to do battle under the glittering stars. Forging the path
that will be followed come spring, and entering into fierce
competition to withstand all who would challenge the Sable Lion
with the weapons of arts, the magic of the sciences, and the bold
words of the bards!

of An Tir do Their Royal Majesties Mighty King Styrkarr Jarlskald
and Beautiful and Radiant Queen Dagrun Stjarna send this missive.
Let all artisans and bards of the Kingdom who would compete for the
Honor of being named A&S Champion or Bardic Champion of An Tir
make themselves ready and attend Their Royal Majesties at the
Championships to determine who shall carry that Honor for the next
of Dragon’s Laire, Conchobar MacEoin and Eilidh Keldeleth, also
wish to welcome you all to the lands they hold in the name of the
Sable Lion and Lioness of An Tir, so that all may witness this most
noble of Tournaments. The Mighty Populace of the Barony of
Dragon’s Laire themselves eagerly invite you all to join us
in beautiful Suquamish, Washington, in the very heart of An Tir, to
stand witness to the competition that will decide the new Kingdom
Arts and Sciences and Bardic Champions of An Tir. These
competitions are set to take place on March 10th, 11th, and 12th,
2017, at the Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish,

There will be a form to submit letters of intent which will be
published online starting January 1, 2017. Artisans will need to be
able to see all the forms in order to apply. Letters of intent will
be submitted via a Google form – not in any other format.

From Tacoma – Merge onto WA-16 W toward Bremerton. WA-16 W becomes
WA-3 N. Travel twenty miles and merge right on to State Highway 305
NE/WA-305 S toward Poulsbo/Bainbridge Island/Kingston. Travel seven
miles to Suquamish Way NE and turn right into the parking lot for
the Resort. Take the first right towards the parking garage and
travel behind the garage to the hotel entrance.
…..From Seattle – Take
the Seattle – Bainbridge Island Ferry (Check schedule / fares). Go
west on WA-305 for approximately seven miles (crossing the Agate
Passage Bridge). Turn left onto Suquamish Way NE. Take the road
going behind the Parking Garage to reach the entrance to the hotel.

Note: There will be a Suquamish Casino shuttle that will transport
guests from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal to the Event Site.
