Greetings one and all. Welcome to the fall Ball !

Cost at the door 10 or 15 with NMS

Doors open at 3

Duck and Drake will be serving our Refreshments, and opens about
4

Potluck Dinner around 5 pm – Bring enough for others to sample
and eat.

( I am hoping to be able to make a turkey that morning, so we
can have a Turkey dinner ! If not, it will be chickens !)

Suspect there might be a Drive by Baronial court – to still be
confrimed

Pas de ba left, right and turn single. Again.
Men lead partners away from the set, change hands and lead. All

Tourdion

Part A: Left, together Right, together In with left foot, back onto
right foot. (repeat three more times)
Part B: Ladies spin in front of partner to next spot to left. All
in left, back onto right. (repeat 3 more times) Repeat
Part A Lords spin in front of lady to the next spot to the right.
All in left, out right. (Repeat 3 more times)
Repeat until music runs out

TrenchMore

Double up, again.
Leading couple one, double up a third time, cast out and away, walk
down the set, and back up, followed by the rest.
Couple one then go under the arches of two, over three as arches,
under four, and all move back to place.
Couple one then take right hands and spin, sending the off spin
into the side waiting with left hands, who then sends them back to
partner. Repeat down to bottem of set.
Couple 2 now becomes couple one. Repeat all

Sellengers

All take hands in circle eight steps the left and eight steps
back.

Single step in, single step in, double step out.
Turn and face partner, set and turn single.

Repeat. On the last set, the Lord goes down to his left knee,
turned so his right leg is behind the lady for her to sit on. His
dropping generally drags the Lady down to sitting position given
the dance position, so it’s an easy lead.

First couple honour, cast out and around and up through number
two’s back to place.
Second couples honour,  move up through ones, around and back
to place.
First corners change places, second corners change places.
Circle four half way.
First couple cast out and down while second couples move up.

Gay Gorden

Three steps forward, turn, three steps back.
Three steps forward, turn, three steps back.
Together with your partner, away from your partner.
Lady crossing in front of your partner into center of set.

Well Hall

First couples turn right hand 1 1/2 times, casting down and change
places while second couple moves up.
Second couple turn right hand 1 1/2 times casting down and change
places while first couple moves up.
First corners change places, second corners change places.
Circle four half way, everyone turned single.
Second corners change places, first corners change places
Circle four half way, first couple cast down the set while second
couples lead up.

Mage on a Cree

Hands-8 into centre, fall back; set and turn single. Repeat.
Men’s back ring; turn corner woman. Women’s back ring; turn
partners.
Side; set and turn single. Repeat.
Men skip round clockwise in front of woman on L,
behind the next and come up beside her; women into the centre, and
out turning single. 
Men complete the circle as before; women into the centre, and out
turning single.
Arm R; set and turn single. Arm L; set and turn single.
Men turn woman on L, then the next, etc. to places.
(Women stand your ground and do not meet the men half way.)

Ma Na’a Vu

Counts PART 1
1-2 Touch R toe FWD. Hold
3-4 Touch R toe to R side. Hold
5-8 Twinkle step – step BACK on R (5). Step L next to R (6). Step
FWD on R (7). Hold (8)
L foot is left on the spot, and not brought FWD.
9-10 Shift body weight only L (rocking action back). Hold
11-12 Shift body weight FWD onto R foot (rocking action FWD).

All balance back and change places.
First couple face down, second, third face up. Half hey on side,
halfway, beginning with right shoulder.
All balance back and change places.
First couple face up, second, third face down. Half hey on side,
halfway, beginning with left shoulder.

Partners arm right and left.
All balance back and change places.
First couple lead down the center to bottom, second and third going
up the sides and following them to invert the set.
All balance back and change places.
First couple cast up to original place followed by second and third
couples.

Nine pin Reel

Equal number of pairs standing in outside of circle, and numbered
either 1, 2 or 1, 2, 3 depending o how many on outer ring.  1
person in middle of circle standing as a pin
Couples one spin clockwise around pin, back to place. Couple 2
likewise. And Couple 3, if there is one, like wise.
The Pin then spins one person from each set. The Person spun
remains standing, remembering their number. The one not spun goes
into the center and spins in circle, soon joined by the others. Pin
comes back, and eventually yells break. All find partners. One left
standing is new pin. ( Think Musical chairs )

Maid Peeped Out the Window

Partners up a double and back ( Again )
1st man, followed by other men, cast down to bottom of the set,
while woman the same in reverse
Partners Set and Turn
Repeat cast, returning set to normal.
Set and Turn.

Partners Side twice
All face up. Men go four slip steps right to woman’s side,
passing in front of woman while woman do the same to men’s
left.
Still facing up, all forward a double, face partner, set and
turn.
All face down. Woman slip left in front, while men behind.
Forward a double and set and turn.

Partners arm right, then left.
All half Poussette Clockwise 1st and 3rd man pushing.

Complete the Poussette to original places 1st and 3rd Men

Toltentenz

Lady Standing in front of Lord, holding hands.

Second and third man make an arch while second and third woman the
same, first couple lead down center and separate, first man going
through men’s arch to bottom place while first woman go through
woman’s arch to bottom place second and third couples moving
up.
All fall back a double and forward. Repeat with second couple
leading down through center.
All fall back a double and forward. Repeat with third couple
leading down through center.

Partners side, set and turn single. Undo it, set and turn
single.
Chorus

Partners arm, set and turn single, disarm, set and turn single

Grimstock

Partners lead up a double and back. Set and turn single.

All mirror hey, (first couple go between second couple to
begin)

Partners arm right, set and turn single. Disarming, set and turn

Grand hey. First couple change places pass by left shoulder, then

Female Saylor

First couple lead up through couple above, and cast around back to
place.
Then lead down through couple below, and cast around back to
place.
Half figure 8 through couple below, and back to place.
Turn one full circle, once around. (Ending improper) 
Ones turn down the set, while twos face up the set
Doe si Doe with opposite. Turn two hands with opposite.
Facing partner, Doe si doe.
Couple one change places and cast out moving down the set, well
couple twos spin up into place.
Repeat.

Sarasons Bransle

Turn to the Left, traveling step, over Left Shoulder. Clap 3
times.
Turn to the Right, traveling step, over right shoulder. Clap three
times.
Repeat both above.
Cross the set, change places with Partner. (Leading with Left
Shoulder.) Clap three times.
Cross the set back, change places with Partner. (Leading with Left
Shoulder.) Clap three times.
