Dregate
welcomes you to our annual Revel, commemorating our shire’s
first event. Come to the beautiful forest retreat of Camp Ortoha to
find fellowship and relaxation with friends old and new. We will
hold Championships in Rapier, Archery, and Bardic. (Championships
are now OPEN to all SCA members, not just to members of Dregate.)
Classes will include “Designing a Device” and
“Forest Foraging”. There will also be stick horse races
for children and adults. Children’s activities will be
provided. Period table and outdoor games will be offered. Dregate
will prepare a portion of the feast, with potluck contributions
from attendees.

Site Fee:
Adults $15 ($5
NMS applies), ages 17 and under are free. We would appreciate your
registration by September 1. Make checks out to “SCA Inc.,
Shire of Dregate”.

Site opens at 4 pm Sept. 16 and closes at noon
on Sept. 18. The site has dormitory-type cabins with bunks (by
reservation, please–see above). There is plenty of room for tents.
RVs OK, no hookups. Hot showers and bathrooms on site. Lost Lake is
nearby, so parental caution is advised. This site is remote (no
phone, cell, or internet service) so please bring any special needs
you require. Site is discreetly damp. Quiet pets, which are leashed
and picked up after are welcome. (Pets are not allowed in the
Lodge, due to kitchen facilities.) For further information check
