The Barony of Three Mountains invites one and
all to the 7^th Archery Academy – Flights of
Fancy.  This event focuses on missile combat, in particular
Archery, Thrown Weapons, Atl Atl, and Combat Archery.  There
will be classes for all ages and skill levels, both Archery and
Non-Archery related.  Pre-Registration for classes will be
through the Ithra website,

Class space is limited, and your registration
is not guaranteed until the Ithra Registrar has received the $1
Ithra registration fee.  Check the class descriptions for the
cost for each individual class.  Class fees should be paid
directly to the instructor.

At the event we will be hosting three separate
Baronial Championships:  Three Mountains Archery Championship,
Three Mountains Thrown Weapons Championship, and the Barony of
Stromgard’s Stormhunter Championship!  A more
challenging gauntlet of Championships would be hard to find!
 Their Excellencies Three Mountains and Stromgard request that
Letters of Intent be submitted electronically before Friday, Aug 12
@ 8 pm

KIDS AND FAMILIES: Come to Archery Academy for a playdate! There
will be games,and art and scavenger hunts at Archery Academy Aug
12-14! Alex and
Aedan, various parents, SCA Aunts and SCA Uncles are putting
together games and fun that whole families can participate in. Most
are period. Some are pure flights of fancy…grins (ha) Activities
will run when there are volunteers to man them between 9:30 am and
8 pm. NOT OFFICIAL…just space to play and some fun stuff to
excite the imagination of our awesome younger SCAdians!. TEACHERS
AND KID FRIENDLY FOLKS: come over and help for an hour!

Per the Three Mountains A&S Minister, we
are having an Arts & Sciences Display for all levels in the
main pavilion. Come show off your latest work and share your
passion! In progress, complete, or complete disaster – solicit
comments via notebook if you like. Saturday, 10-7

There is
limited access to potable water on site.  Please plan
accordingly

The Virgin
Countess will be available for meals all weekend.

No
pets are allowed on site, per the owner’s
request.

Be a
responsible smoker and pick up your butts.  There is a $1
penalty per butt found after the event.

 

Fire pits are
allowed, and must be twelve inches above the ground
