As the rain and the cold settle into the Barony of Three
Mountains and the Current Coronets, Aedan and Alexandria, pass the
Baronial Regalia to the new Coronets, Sebastiaen des Roseaux and
Erika the Dragons Mistress, we celebrate the new Excellencies with
a relaxed and comfortable, welcoming First Court on February 6,
2016.

There is a folk saying from Sivas, Turkey which His Excellency
Sebastiaen is fond of;

“Conversations without tea are like a night sky without
the moon.”

Toward that end, all are invited to bring a favorite tea and a
dessert to share, for after this First Court is concluded we shall
repair to the dining salon for tea, coffee, dessert and
conversation.

In honor of the 1580s French Nautical and Monastic persona of
Sebastiaen “Sable” and the 14th Century  Ottoman
Turk persona of this Lady-Wife, Erika, it is suggested that
desserts for the Pot Luck after Court be in keeping with those
themes, if possible (but this is not required).  It is Her
Excellency’s pleasure to hold an Arts and Sciences competition of
Subtleties to be presented and eaten with the tea and coffee.
There will be a prize given for the Subtlety deemed best, with
bonus points given for following one of the themes!  Her
Grace, Duchess Hlutwige Wolfkiller has graciously agreed to make
Turkish coffee.

pertinent to our themes, please contact the Autocrat.  Games
