Come and join the populace of Seagirt to
witness the testing of candidates who wish to become Scholars of
Seagirt. This year our two candidates are Máel Brigte and
Athelina Grey.

After a day of testing and some classes please join us for a
potluck feast to celebrate all the hard work of our
candidates!

Site fee for adults $10
$5 NMS
All minors free

Main site: Songhees retirement park Clubhouse, 1 Eagle Lane,
Victoria, BC

Across from Admiral’s Walk Thrifty Foods at Admirals Road and
Hallowell Road

(Please see information regarding allowed parking)

 

For our out-of-town guests: there are two
rooms available to rent. Each room is $20 and they both have two
twins in each room and a shower available. Please bring your own
bedding and send a message to reserve the room.

 

Schedule for the day:

8:30 am set-up
9:00 am site opens, class registration
10:00 am Court
10:30-12:30 First class session
12:30-1:30 lunch break
There is a grocery store and shops across the street. Fridge,
microwave and stove available on-site (Please label all food and
clean up anything used)
1:30-3:30 Second class session
3:30-5:00 Third class session
5:30 Court
Potluck in Club house
10:00 clean-up (or whenever things wind down)
11:00 site closes

bring exact change for class fees to pay your instructor.

10:30-12:30 First class session
Upstairs: Introduction to Fiore’s Armizare (Master Mark der
Gaukler) $5
Downstairs: Fingerloop braiding – Introduction (Mistress
Alicia LeWilfulle) $1

1:30-3:30 Second class session
Upstairs: Painting on Cloth (Mistress Linnet Kestrel) $5
Downstairs: Fingerloop braiding – intermediate (Mistress Alicia
LeWilfulle) $1

3:30-5:00 Third class session
Upstairs: Celtic knot work (Master John Macandrew) $1
Downstairs: Introduction to nålbinding (taught by Duchess
Meagan) $2
