Odin’s Playground 2015 – Valhalla Rising




Deep in the heart of Valhalla, massive oak doors open … revealing
a glorious sight indeed. Hundreds of Valkyries stream out, on a
mission from Odin himself.




Those who fought hard in battle this summer, their inspirations,
and their friends have all been called to join the Great
Feast. 




‘Tis the season of Valhalla!




Come join us, one and all to the Playground of Odin
himself!

7:00pm – Games (kube, hnefatafl, bring your own)

Saturday September 12
9:30am – Long Skinny Sword Inspection
10:00am – Opening Ceremonies (Mother Hen, Blessing of the games,
naming ceremony)
11:00am – Long Skinny Sword Tourney
11:00am – Archery & Thrown ranges open – ongoing games
begin
11:00am – Field Games start (Axe throw, Spear throw, rock throw,
hammer throw, caber toss, sheep toss)
11:00am – A&S Contestants display their entries
12:00pm – Combat Archery Inspection
12:30pm – Combat Archery Box Tourney
1:00pm – Heavy Fighting Armor Inspection
1:30pm – The Raid (Combat Archers and Heavy Fighters)
2:00pm – Heavy Handicapped Holmgang Tourney
3:00pm – A&S Judged
3:00pm – Youth Combat Inspections
3:30pm – Youth Combat Tourney
4:30pm – Field Games, Archery, Thrown Weapon Ranges Close
6:00pm – Smorgasbord (Potluck)
– Shire providing pork and salmon and lefse
– During potluck: Prizes from the day, Bardic starts…
7:30pm – Evening Games (Stick Wrestling, Glima Wrestling and other
general carrying ons)

Sunday September 13
10:00am – Trading Blanket

3:00 pm – site closes

A&S Contest Information

A Drinking Horn! Fit for the Gods. 
This should be made by the person entering it. Points for
craftsmanship, creativity, and functionality.

No documentations required.

Oh, alright, alright … I will accept any drinking vessel. Just
for you. Don’t tell anyone.

Merchant Information

Please contact Lupo to register for your space. We need to know the
size of your booth will be, and do you need camping space with
it?

There is no merchant fee, but a donation for prizes would be
appreciated.
