It is time
once again to call the warriors of An Tir to battle in the Game of
Thrones and StormGods, in the Barony of Stromgard.  Compete in
a remarkable tournament to be named the StormGod, (Armored Champion
of Stromgard) or prove your soldiers the mightiest in Tiernan’s
Game of Thrones!

 

Schedule of Events

Friday
12:00pm – Site opens
7pm – Baron’s Bash – Open to all, snacks, drinks
and a pinata provided for children under the age of
18!

 

Saturday
8am – Armor inspection for StormGod and StormBlade
Tournament.
9am – Baronial Court – – Invocation of the List
and Presentation of Letters of Intent for tournaments
10:30am – StormGod and StormBlade tournaments begin.
11am – Equestrian, Archery and Thrown weapons begins.
Newcomers class at the purple and white round pavillion
12pm – Silk Banner painting class
5pm – Baronial Court – Investiture of StormGod and
StormBlade
8pm – Race for the Hoard begins (Adults 21+
only!)

Sunday
10am – Youth Armored Combat Tournament
3pm – Site is closed

We will
gather to celebrate Stromgard’s Barons past and present, with
feasting and revelry.

 

Saturday

Storm God
Championship

On Saturday,
Stromgard’s Armored championship will be conducted and those war
bands present will play the Game of Thrones. Contenders must
present themselves to Ivon and Hlutwige, Lord and Lady Stromgard
during Saturday’s opening court

 

Storm Blade
Championship

Baron Ivon and Baroness Hlutwige
invite all rapier fighters to compete to be Rapier Champion of
Stromgard, be named the first Storm Blade

The championship will be fought
in three parts. The first part will be a round robin, fought with
single sword only. The second part is an unlimited res battle in
the woods. Two armies will fight for control of the castles. Teams
will get points for capturing and holding their opponents castle.
Being on the winning team will give you one point towards getting
in the finals. The final part will
be a second round robin, this time fought with any weapon
combination you desire. The top two fighters from the two round
robins will fight a best two out of three final, to be come the
rapier champion of Stromgard.

“Race for
the Hoard,” will once again be happening, an adult-only treasure
hunt. Please bring a small
“treasure” to add to the chest to participate and look
forward to a great time.

No Water available on site.  Please
bring your own water.  Remember this has been a very hot event
in the past.

 

UPDATE – Fire danger is high. Clark County
has new fire ban.  All recreational
burning is banned (campfires, outdoor fire pits, outdoor and
portable fireplaces).  Gas and charcoal barbecues and
self-contained camp stoves are allowed.  You must have an
extinguisher.

Children?  Remember they have extra paperwork. 
If you are not the parent or legal
guardian of the children you are bringing, their parent or legal
guardian must fill out the paperwork before the children come to
the event.

to Site: Traveling southbound on I-5, take Exit 21. Stay on
frontage road (Pacific Avenue). Turn left at signal onto Lewis
River Rd/WA-503. Cont. Traveling northbound on I-5, take Exit 21.
At signal turn right onto Lewis River Rd/WA-503. Cont. Continued:
From Lewis River Rd/WA-503, turn immediatly right onto CC Street,
which becomes NW Hayes Rd after crossing the bridge. From the
bridge, travel 4.8 miles and turn right onto NE 12th Avenue. Follow
signs to site on right; approximately 1 mile.
