Greetings ! All are most welcome to come and join us as we
celebrate the Newcomers and Youth of An Tir with a special
Championship. We will be holding all manner of Martial Competitions
– Archery, Fencing, Thrown Weapons and of course Heavy
Fighting – specifically for those who have been engaged in
those disciplines for less than three years. In addition, we will
be hosting a special Youth and Children’s Championships in which
our young competitors (those less than 17 years in age) will be
competing in at least five of the eight events offered. Finally,
there will be 15 different Classes offered. So join us for the
Dragon’s Mist Newcomer’s / Youth Championship at
Dragon’s Den Farms in Newberg, OR on June 26th
through
28th.

Site Fee:
Weekend: Adult-$15 (plus $5 NMS Fee)
Day Trip: Adult-$10 (plus $5 NMS Fee)

Gate Information:
Friday:
Gate opens to merchants at 12:00 Noon
Gate opens to populace at 3:00
PM and closes at 12:00 Midnight

**After Gate closes, there will be no entry until Gate opens again
in the morning. No Exceptions**

*Quiet time is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Youth and Children’s
Championships (for those 17 years of
age or younger)

Come compete for the titles of Children’s and Youth Champion! The
entrants for the Children’s/Youth Championship will be tasked
with the following activities:

Archery (bow and arrows provided or bring your own)

Thrown Weapons (Equipment provided)

3.        
Hobby Horse A&S Project (Supplies provided)

4.        
Hobby Horse Steeple Chase

5.        
Spear the Balloon (Equipment and drenching provided)

6.        
Service Project

7.        
YAC Tournament (Equipment not provided)

8.        
Sausage Roasting

 

All entrants must be
present and declare entry at Morning Court. Competitors must
complete at least 5 of the 8 tasks between the Court and 4pm. Each
task will be scored and the total score will be compared to other
entrants. Competition levels are Children (ages 6-11) and Youth
(ages 12-17).  Victory in the Championship entitles the
winners to one year of being named Dragons Mist Children’s or
Youth Champion, a place in the court of the Barons of Dragons Mist
and the right to wear the regalia of the champion.
