Shire of Vinjar

Camp Tamarack

“The
Shire of Vinjar” is known for our Archers who have protected
our populace, land and stock.  Come one come all, to take part
in our traditional grape stomp, as we need many allies to help us
crush our grapes & celebrate our victories under the watchful
eye of HE Baroness Sidonia.

We of Vinjar,
invite “ALL” new or seasoned to participate in
tournaments of target archery, combat archery, heavy combat, rapier
and arts & sciences. The new Vinjar champions who are current
SCA members will be selected from all competitors by their skill,
strength, talents & be rewarded with title and being part of
the “Best Shire” which is known as Vinjar. Vinjar Champions have served our
Shire well this last year
, we thank them for their service and
call upon them to render one last service unto Vinjar so show the
“known world” what a grand Shire we have!

A
“Feast of Plenty” will be prepared by our humble cook
Lady Emily the Serf with many helping hands in the scullery.
Lord Aonghus will prepare breakfast and our famous “brown bag
lunch” delivered by Lady Azalea and her band of merry
helpers.  There are limited feast tickets and beds as well as
many wonderful camping spots.  As this is a camping event, the
site is discreetly wet. The site is wheelchair accessible and has
indoor showers/washrooms, a large bardic fire pit (bring your
singing voices and musical instruments) and an outdoor stage
area.
