Shire Of Hauksgarðr invites you to our Dæg for
Cræft.

April 19^th in Cascade Locks,
Oregon

Are you looking for new
activities to do in the SCA? Would you like to learn a new craft or
skill? Join us for a relaxed day of crafting, learning and
socializing in the heart of the beautiful Columbia Gorge. We hope
to provide a fun, relaxed day of meeting and greeting and sharing
our favorite A&S activities with others. We are setting up
classes now and plan to have a good variety to choose from.
Please…if you have a skill that you would be willing to share,
contact one of the autocrats.

The site has a grassy area
outside (with a beautiful view of the river!) for armoring classes,
camp cooking and if we have luck and no wind, there might also be
lampworking or other classes suited to the outdoors. The building
has a main room and a kitchen and is handicapped accessible. There
is room to plug in crock pots and to store some items for the
potluck. There are five restaurants within a few blocks and one
local market if you need to grab lunch or drinks on the way. There
is a new brewery next door as well!

There will be a potluck
dinner. Bring your favorite Main dish, Side dish, or Dessert. The
Shire will provide the bread. Site is discretely wet, please use
non-modern eating and drinking containers. Please remember that
some people have food allergies so please label food with your
ingredients. Bring enough food to feed your family plus several
more.

Site
fee:

$5 for Adults, Youth 12-17
$3, under 12 free. ($5 Non-Member Surcharge applies).

If you wish to stay the
weekend and enjoy the beautiful gorge area, there is a very nice
campground on site. Camping rental can be secured by calling the
Port of Cascade Locks Park. There are 20 mixed tent and RV
campsites and a wonderful view!
