Greetings to the
Citizens of Antir!

The Shire of River’s Bend is
once again hosting the annual Autumn Gathering now in it’s 7th
year. This year’s theme is OWLS….whooooo will win the Chess
Championship this year?  Whoooo will win the Arts and Science
Competition??  Whooo will win the Subtlety contest??
Well, you get the idea…have fun with the theme for your
entry in the Arts and Science  Competition and the Subtlety
contest!!! We have a new location this year and it is all on one
level and is right across from the lake, so there is a wonderful
area for fighters – heavy and rapier. Perhaps even thrown weapons,
all depending on weather of course.

Classes:

Many do have attendance limits, so please send a note to
Magda (e-mail
purpleflutterby28@yahoo.com
in advance if possible so she can let the teachers know how many
students to plan for. Please be prepared to pay instructors
directly and in small bills only so they don’t need to make
change.

A class in wire weaving is also coming, details
TBA.

its history, and see some period and SCA period examples before
learning to work the stitch with a small class
project.

Long arm cross stitch is a component of Assisi

them.
