HE Grimolfr Griotgardsson and HE Dezzrianne Draganova doch’,
Hersir and Posadnitsa Myrgan Wood are celebrating the Barony’s
33rd Anniversary!! We invite you to join us in the
celebrations and in the selection of Our Armoured and Missile
Champions.

There will also be a
rapier tournament, A&S classes and family activities. More
information on tournaments and classes will continue to be added,
so please continue checking for updates. 
Merchants are welcome and
should contact HE Dezzrianne for
space.

Challenge:

 


Greetings to the populace, As Myrgan Wood’s 33rd Anniversary draws
near I issue a challange. Draw upon all your creativity and make
something that utilizes 33 in honor of our Anniversary, in some
way. Entries will be on display and voting will be done by the
populace. There is no need for documentation. There will of course
be space if there is a project that you would like some feedback on
as well. There will be a child’s A&S activity as
well.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous – Corpora
says we “recreate aspects of the life and culture of the landed
nobility”.  What were the lifestyles and values of the
medieval landed nobility?  What sorts of things did they do
for work and play?  What codes of behavior did they attempt to
live by?  Focus is on the high middle ages.  Basically a
whirlwind overview of aristocratic core culture.  By Master
Edwin Atte Bridge

 


Aristocracy, Nobility, Peerage Then and Now –
A discussion of historical definitions and gradations of the upper
levels of society, the official mark of status, the rights and
privileges that they enjoyed and how SCA law and practice compares
to that of history.  Focuses on middle and later periods as
much of this only solidified around the year 1200.  By Master
Edwin Atte Bridge

 


There will also be activities for the children
set out.

tickets available.  If
you would like to reserve for feast or have any questions, or
require clarification with respect to the ingredients, please

a.m. (midnight).  For
Family Rate contact the HE Dezzrianne (for more than 2 adults and 2
youth inc. feast). 


Reservations and prepaid reservation can be
forwarded to the Event Steward.


Non-Member Surcharge – A $5 NMS fee
will be applied to all adult site fees for those individuals that
cannot show proof of membership.
