Autumn Celebration – 15 September

Site Fee:
$10.00 for adults (plus $5 Non-Member Surcharge where
applicable)
$5.00 for children 6 and older
No charge for children under 6 years

Please make cheques payable to the Shire of
Cold Keep, SCA Inc.

Join Cold Keep as we gather to celebrate the
harvest and thumb our noses at the approaching winter weather on
the 15th of September. Activities for the day include a variety of
THUA classes and an archery tournament. Small tournaments from the
other disciplines could break out at any moment! There will be
prizes! Please check back often as changes may come to the plan for
the day!

Saturday evening we will host a potluck feast
at the hall. Out of town guests are invited to bring breads. Shire
folk are requested to bring the following, based on the first
letter of your last name:

Salads or Vegetables – N-Z
Meats and Cheeses – A-G
Main dish – H-M

We will be having a dessert auction
so bring your coins and plan to pool your
resources!

There will be prizes for seasonally appropriate
table dressing, period food dishes, bardic and other
surprises.

1530 – Combat Archery Tourney ends
1830 – Potluck begins

Intro to Blacksmithing – Lord Romulus
Welcome to Warbird Armouries. Take up the hammer and literally
strike while the iron is hot. Learn about basic Blacksmithing
techniques and tools and come away with your own, hand forged cloak
clasp and maybe a blister or two. Cost $10. Max 5 students.

Range Rules and Etiquette – HL
Elena
This course will go over the basics of safety and etiquette on the
archery range. Archers who intend to travel outside the borders of
Cold Keep are strongly encouraged to attend.
Cost: Free. Max students: The more the merrier.
