..The darkness of winter has reached its’ solstice and soon the
days will lengthen again. In this, the darkest time of year, what
better way to celebrate the return of light and warmth, than to
feast and make merry.   Their Excellencies Duke Tiernan
and Duchess Miranda ask you to share the joy our ancestors must
have felt about this time of

YULE

The day will be filled with “traditional” Yule activities. 
Dance with our Sargent candidates, challenge them at games, listen
to them spin bardic tales and tell sagas of their
history.  Tourney with armored fighters, participate in
classes, and cheer on heralds in competition of twisted words
and “herald says”.  Create your ornament and compete
for a prize.  Door prize for a newcomer to grace their table.
Children activities to entertain.

Feasting and wassailing will highlight the day in the potluck
style.  Please, bring enough to serve 8-10 people with a
3×5 card listing ingredients.  Bring plastic bags
for your dishes to take them home.

A-F  Desserts and Fruit
G-L  Salads, veggies, cheese
M-S  Side dishes
T-Z  Meat dishes, main dishes
Barony will provide turkey and bread.  Site discreetly
wet.
