The seasons change, and time moves
on.  A new couple sits on the Baronial seats for the
great Barony of Lions Gate.  As they begin their reign,
they gather their entourage and take a grand tour of their
new lands.  In the northern reaches of their Barony,
they begin their circuit at a welcoming Scottish style great
house; the ancestral home of the Clan
MacAndrew.

Come join with the Clan as they
welcome the new Baron & Baroness of Lions Gate into their
home with a banquet in their honour.  The feast will
feature traditional Scottish fare, the center of which will
be the great highland red deer!  (Okay, it’s roast beef.
But its persona was a red deer.)

The Wolf & Drum Tavern will be
in attendance (a cash bar), and hosted by the fabulous
MacAndrew Bar Babes.  No other alcohol will be
permitted.

Music provided by Collegium
Leonum.

The head cook has been asked if there will be haggis.
There may be one for the head table, and perhaps another for
anyone who wishes to partake.  He’s a Scot, and
personally can’t stand the stuff.  But, that’s why we
invented Scotch Whisky; to wash down the haggis.

The doors will open at 5pm, and we
will close at 11pm.  Set up and clean up help is
needed.

Tickets are $25, and no NMS will be
charged for this event.  Please make any cheques out to
“The Barony of Lions Gate”.

Tickets will only be sold in
advance, and can be purchased by contacting Hraði Inn
Rakki or Ceara Mhadadhain at Baronial Fight Practice, Tickets
will also be on sale at Baroness’ Tourney and Baronial
Council by myself and my lord Uilliam “the”
MacAndrew.

25th.
