As the days grow short and the harvest is completed, the
Shire of Tir Bannog turns it’s eyes to the finer things in
life. Food, Friendship and FUN FUN FUN. During a two day
festival to honor St. Crispin’s we shall chose by Rights of
Skill our Rapier Champion and our A&S champion. We shall
also be holding our second annual Fun A&S prize
competition, an open Brewing competition, Heavy prize tourney
as well as our often asked for Archery prize tourney. Come
show your skills at any and all of the above competitions.

 

Following a day of fun and friendship we shall be holding our
Feast to honor St. Crispins. Showing off our cooking
abilities as well as our hospitality for those who travel
great distances to join us at our festival. During the feast,
revel as our Bardic Champion challengers show their skills
between removes. After the feast the Bardic Champion shall be
named.

 

After the martial competitions are completed, while the
kitchen staff finalize the feast Dance classes taught by Lady
Medb of Cae Mor will be held.  She is planning on
teaching many different and exciting dances.  Come one
and all.  

 

There will be a silent auction with all monies collected
going to the Tir Righ travel fund.

 

Merchants are welcome with no merchant fee. Donations to the
silent auction appreciated.

The Feast this year will be based on the travels of Gudrid
the Traveller.  Gudrid made 7 voyages from Vinland to
Rome.

      Remove 1 – Features delicacies from
Vinland

      Remove 2 – Features delicacies from
Iceland

      Remove 3 – Features delicacies from
Rome

 

Fees: $5 for the weekend with NMS of $5.
children 6 and under free. Family cap before NMS of $15.
Feast fees $10 per adult, $5 per child 6-12 and children
under 6 eat free. Please contact the autocrat or feastocrat
to pre-book feast tickets or with any dietary concerns. Make
cheques payable to “Shire of Tir Bannog, SCA,Inc.”

 

Site: Fusion Tae Kwon Do, 2025 Kanata Ave,
Houston BC. Site opens Saturday at 8am and closes Sunday at
1pm. Site is discreetly damp. Lots of crash space available
in the hall after the feast.
