Good gentles of our land the Shire of
Dragon’s Mist, let it be known that on the days of the 20th,
21st, and 22nd of the month of August, we will be choosing
our new Heavily Armored and Rapier Defenders by right of
combat, as well as our Archery,
Youth, and Arts & Sciences Defenders! 

Children’s Archery and Arts and Science are
also available, and more activities for children to
come!

Site is
discreetly wet, pets are allowed on leashes at all times, and
to be cleaned up after. No baggies are provided.

The site has no fire restrictions at this time, no in-ground
fires are permitted. This is subject to change, you will be
informed at gate of any changes.

Please unload your car, take it to parking, THEN set up your
site. The roads are needed for movement, by order of the
state parks.

Site has water on site for our use, there will be biffies
(ADA included) as well as a permanent lavatory. No showers
are on site.

$15 ($5 Non Member Surcharge)
Children ages 10 – 15: $8 ($5 NMS)
Children under 10: Free

Please remember that in the SCA, it has
been tradition to leave any and ALL sites we use cleaner than
we found them.
This is an
official SCA event, and as such all Mundane state and Federal
Laws apply as well as all Society conventions. This is to
include “Leash Laws” for our four-legged children. PLEASE
leash your pets or be kind enough to leave them home. No
exceptions will be tolerated.
Armour inspection WILL
include visual verification of Fighter’s card for both HAC
and Rapier combatants. There are to be no exceptions to this.
Kings Word Is Law.
Unless you wish for the fighters at this event to come
through your campsite at 6 in the morning with a drum yelling
about getting up, Please respect that quiet time is at 2am.
