You are
invited to attend the Midhaven Champions tournament and the
Emprise of the Sable Rose. Two events for the price of
one!

 

On Saturday, compete to be
the Shire of Midhaven Champion in Heavy Armored Combat,
Rapier, Archery, Thrown Weapons,
A&S
, Youth A&S,
Youth
Combat
and
Equestrian.  Saturday evening, compete to
become Midhaven Bardic Champion & Youth Bardic Champion
at the Bardic Circle.  

 

On Sunday,
compete in the Emprise of the Sable Rose. Try your skills in
Fine Rapier combat, Exciting Equestrian challenges, and Heavy
Armored
Pas
d’Arms.

 

Archers – The
Midhaven archery championship will consist of eight
novelty shoots. After morning court, the range will be open
until 11am , when the competition will

start.
The
range
will be open again after the
competition and a small break.

 

On Sunday the York
Rounds will start at 10 am and it will take about 4
hours.


 



A&S
Competitors
:  Artisans of all kinds
are welcome to submit their best work for the honor of Arts
& Sciences Champion
.


Adult competitors
should present two items, along
with

documentation, for
judging. You will be asked to give a brief presentation or
demonstration of the crafting of
one

of


the items you submit.
Youth
competitors (ages 6-16)
should submit one item, along with documentation, for
judging, presentation optional.

In addition to the
judges’
decision, there will be
a
 “populace
choice” award. Those wishing to compete, please bring
your items to the Arts & Science Pavilion on Saturday no
later than
11:00
a.m.
 for
display. Judging
 will commence at
1:00 p.m.

Equestrians must
pre-register with Taradan.
  $10 haul-in fee per
horse (plus usual site fee for rider).  There are no
stalls available this year, but the paddocks can be used like
last year.

grassy areas for camping.  RVs – $10
per night with hook-up included; contact the autocrats to
reserve RV space
  

 

Site opens at 3pm on Friday,
July 30 and closes at 5pm on Sunday, August 1. 

 

Site Fee:
For the weekend – $15.00 -18 and over + $5.00 NMS Adult
non-member surcharge; $10.00 – age 6-17, 5 and under are
free. Family cap $50.00. 

Day trip fee – $10.00 for
adults + $5.00 NMS Adult non-member surcharge and $5.00
for kids; Family cap $30.00.

Merchant
Fee: 
 $1.00 per frontage
foot.  Merchants will have site access starting at 2pm

this year, but all attendees are invited to bring their

to the grassy area to eat
while watching the Bardic performances.  Or just come watch

performances.  A winner will be chosen
and announced at the end of the competition.
