Come one and all to Stromgard’s Founding Revel, February
6.

Spend the day with us and share in our celebrations from 10am
to 9pm.

On this day we will be celebrating Stromgard’s founding lo
these many yearsago, and the elevation of our fair home to
the status of Barony 10
years
ago.

Our usual fabulously delicious served feast, which this year
does have limited seating of only 300.  Please make sure
to reserve seating by contacting the autocrat before Friday
February 5th, 2009  This year cooked by the Honorable
Lady Sionaid ine Cullaich will include:

Smoked pork loin
Beef collops
Chicken
soup
Spinach soup
Leek and onion pie
Several lovely salats
Apple and cheese tart
Pear tartlets

There will be plenty for both the meat lovers among us and
those who abstain at this banquet.
If you have a serious food
allergy inquiry email the autocrat. Put Founding revel
food allergy in the subject line.

Our Baronial Arts and Sciences competition will take place in
the afternoon, with the investiture of Stromgard’s new Art’s
and Sciences
Champion at evening Baronial Court.

In addition there will be many other activities
including:
Heavy Fighter Practice

various children’s activities:
–Stoolball
–Harpastum (keep away)
–blind man’s bluff
–stick-in-the- mud tag
–pillow jousting
–calligraphy/ illumination/ coloring books/drawing
–heraldry
–sewing
–board games
and of course our justly famous Children’s Equestrian
Tournament!

Bring your full purses and bid on the traditional Stromgard
Basket auction.

Fill a basket with things someone else would like to have,
bring it to Founding Revel, put it out for the basket
auction.

Come back in a little while and bid on other baskets. Get
something good to take home with you while knowing you have
done something good for Stromgard.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a spare basket, just bring your
donation anyway.

And loyal Stromgard subjects will have the opportunity to pay
their Baronial Taxes for the year.

11am opening court
12-3pm A&S competition
12-3pm fighter practice
12-4pm open time for gaming, dancing, music etc.
2pm children’s equestrian
4pm feast
6pm evening court

9pm site closes for populace, start of clean-up

10pm site closed

For all of this we are only asking $10.00 per adult, children
14 and under
are $6.00, 4 and younger are free. $32.00 family cap, and of
course a non-member surcharge of $3.00 will be collected.
