Welcome and come one come all

Join us for our Annual Freedomfest DEMO and Championship Tourny. We are adding a new Champion to the Stronghold

the First ever ARTS and Science Champion of Rath An Oir as well as our normal Heavy and Rapier champions.

Please come and join us and have fun. The date is the 4th of July 2007 on Ft Lewis WA.  Please contact the Seneschal for more info on our up coming event.  More will follow to this page as we update rules for our First Annual Arts and Science Champion.

The following are the categories for the Stronghold
A&S Championship 
either a 2 dimensional item something like hand made paper or a Really nice Scroll.

3 dimensional item something like a Carved wooden spoon or a hand made box or candles

and a bardic style as well.  Song, Story, Poetry.

You must enter at Least 2 of the Three parts of the contest.

Documentation must accompany each entry. Please
provide one written page describing the article, how
it was made in period, and what you did. Also, please
provide one picture showing the artifact or period
item that you are re-creating or were inspired by.

Entrants must not have won any previous A&S
Competition at the Baronial or at the Kingdom level.
We want to especially encourage beginning artisans,
and those who have not previously won an A&S
competition, to enter this competition.

Stronghold Defender Championship Tourney.

This will be a Mixed Weopons. All Fighters will be prepard to fight in two or more weopons forms of thier choseing. Fighters will alternate forms between rounds. Round Robin or Double Eliminations will be determined at the event, based on the turn out of fighters.  NOTHING OVER 7 1/2 Feet in length  Since we are going to be open to the public till 8pm Pick up fights will happen thru out the day.  Nels and Elizabeth are sponsering prizes for Most Chivalric fighter and best Display of Heraldy on the field.
