Champions Tourney
Shire of Midhaven
August 11-13,2006
Skagit County, WA

The Shire of Midhaven wishes to invite all to our Shire’s Champions Tourney.

There will be all the usual tourney competitions of Heavy’s, Rapier,
Archery (including York Rounds) and Thrown Weapons. This year we will
be having our first Populace Choice A & S Competition.

Parents please be aware that the Samish River and a pond are onsite,
so watch your smalls!

Any animals brought to the site are the sole responsibility of the
owner. Pets must be leashed & scooped.

There is a limited water supply so please bring your own potable
water.

All fires are above ground and no open flames please.

This is a wet site, please use only period containers.

Merchant fee will be $14.00 for one merchant site and a 10 x 10 space
fee. Anything larger in the frontage than a 10×10 will be an
additional $1.00 per frontage foot. Then any merchant signing up
after August 1st will have to pay $1.00 per frontage foot and the site
fee. Please contact the merchantcrat, Jann, for details. Phone

The site opens at 3:00pm on the 11th to all and closes at 5:00pm on
the 13th.
Site Fee: $10 for 16 yrs & up, $6 for 6-15 yrs, 5 & under free, $26
family cap, and 1/2 price for each age group and family cap for a day
trip. Per Kingdom law there is a $3 fee for adult non-members in
addition to the site fee. Make checks payable to “Shire of Midhaven,
SCA Inc.”

Directions: From I-5 North, take exit #236, take a left, and from I-5
South take a right. Cross Old Hwy 99, continuing on Prairie Rd till
you reach Highway 9. The Samish School will be on the left hand
corner. Take a left (north) on Highway 9, go through the curves and
down the hill. The driveway is just before the Firehouse. 3234 State
