HOGMANAY – Scottish New Year Feast Shire of Myrtleholt
January 1st, 2005 Kerby, Oregon Hogmanay time again! Start
your New Year right!! With a feast of course!! Our annual
Scottish Feast will include more good Celtic food than you
can shake a kilt at, including traditional Haggis. There will
be games and boffer fun for all. We will have dancing, bards,
music, and a tarot reader. We will have open bardic and
welcome entertainment from our guests. If weather permits
there will be Fire Dancers. There is an area available for
rapier and for Heavy Fighting.(If interested contact me ) It
is time for the women to put on their judging hats, and the
men to wash their knees!! The famous Bonnie Knees Contest
will once again be the highlight of the evening. Come One!
Come all! You never know what might be at HOGMANAY !!

INFO: Kerby Belt Building (RCC extension campus) on Redwood
Hwy 199, Kerby, Or. 97531. Site opens at 10:00am on Saturday,
Jan. 1st, 2005 and close at Midnight. The feast will be
served at 6pm. Snacks during the day. Site Fee: Adults
$8.00(16yrs+), Children $5.00(7-15), 0-6yrs free. Family cap
$25 (no SCA Households please). NON MEMBER; Add $3 for each
adult non member. Make cks. payable to SCA,Inc.,Myrtleholt
.This is a Dry Site ! DIRECTIONS: From the coast; take best
route to Redwood Hwy, 199. Follow 199 N. into OR. thru
O’Brien and Cave Junction, Kerby is 2 miles north of C.J..
The Belt Building is on the right (Masonic Hall) it will be
marked with SCA signs. >From all Inland areas; Take best
route on I-5 to Grants Pass. Get off the freeway in Grants
Pass and follow the signs to go to the coast. You will end up
on Redwood Hwy 199. Kerby is 26 miles south of G.P., The Belt
Bldg. will be on the left it will be marked with SCA signs.
