Avacal November Coronet Shire of Borealis (Edmonton, Alberta)
November 27, 2004 Their Highnesses Vik and Inga invite you to
join Them in the Shire of Borealis on November 27th to
witness the choosing of the Heirs to the thrones of Avacal!!
Location: Landing Trail School, 5301 – 37 Avenue, Town of
Gibbons, Alberta. T0A 1N0. The site opens at 9 am., closes at
1am. Directions to Sunday Curia will be provided at the

Feast: $16 Children: Under 12 half price/under 5 free. Note
that a $4 Non-member surcharge will be applied to all
non-members. Bring proof of membership! Make cheques payable
to: ASCA Canton of Aquilon Coronet tournament will be
standard double elimination format. Weapon Restrictions: –
Combatants must declare chosen weapon style at inspection and
use that style throughout the tournament. – Maximum weapon
length is seven feet – No more than 4 striking surfaces in
total. Note that all warriors and their inspirations entering
the Coronet lists must have proof of membership present and
have a current subscription to the Avantgarde. To make

your SCA and Mundane name. Directions: Gibbons is located
just Northeast of Edmonton. Find your best route to Manning
Drive heading northeast, turn left (north) onto Hwy 28A.
Travel North on Hwy 28A for approximately 14km. Gibbons is
located on the left side of the highway – look for the Town
of Gibbons sign & SCA sign. If you intersect with Hwy 28,
you have gone too far. Once inside Gibbons, follow the SCA
signs.
