Autumn War
The Barony of Blatha An Oir invites you.
Sept. 16-19,2004
Riverglen campground, in Orting Wa.
Step back in time to the third crusade and discover wondrous culture change.
New foods, fabrics, beverages, and worldwide changes beckoned in the dawning of the Renaissance.

To commorate this time of change and dawning of a new era, autumn war this year will host several events to reenact the third crusades. Come and experience a step back in time.

Belly dancing competition
Brewing
Siege cooking
Children�s story telling competition (children will tell a story and compete)
Dog Races
Best plague rat
Hattie Longtooth wood working competition
Teen night featuring games and food (I.D. will be checked)
Bardic
Fencing
Archery
Thrown Weapons
Other fighting to be announced,
And of course the War, Us verses Them.

As always, Events cannot happen with out volunteers. Please volunteer!
Please Pre register for easier entry to the site.
Site will open at noon on the 16th for merchants, two pm for general populous. Please no land grabbing, we are a chivalric society, be kind to your neighbors, you may even make new friends. Space is at a premium as always at a large event. Please pay attention to parking guards; if we all want to fit, we must work together. SCA and mundane laws will apply and be enforced. Due to the new housing that has been built surrounding the site, there is a Quiet time of 11pm. There will be a noisy camping section, but the noise level will still need to be kept low after 11pm.

Site directions: From the north, make your way to SR167 south, Exit to SR 162. Go south (towards Orting) on SR 162 approximately 4.5 miles to River Glen Campground ( If you cross the stone bridge you�ve gone too far.) from the south take I-5 to SR 512. At the merge with SR167 North, bear right on SR410. Exit to SR162 and proceed to Riverglen

Site Fee: 15$ members, 18$ non members, Children 6-12, 7$
Full fee for day tripping, no family cap amount (full fee). Make check and money orders payable to: BAO SCA inc.
