The Barony of Blatha an Oir welcomes you as we choose our new Champions through feats of might and skill. Revel with us as we celebrate their victories! Deep in the woods of Orting, the current Champions are holding tournaments and competitions throughout the weekend for: Heavy Fighting, Lord Kjartan Daegarson Rapier, Cameron of Clan Stewart Archery, Charles de Beaumont Thrown Weapons, Lord Stevyn Cyneburh A&S , HL Joya Cedreholt, JdL Baronial Page, Sam Longtooth & Yokozashi Kyoko Shield of the Barony, Einar Leifsson

Make favors for your fighter and friends while sharing family favorite desserts and recipes at the picnic shelter. Bring a dessert to share and your creativity as Senyora Ines de Santangel inspires your mind and hand.

Also, The Baroness invites you to Tea and cakes of delight under the pavilion during the afternoon activities on the main field along with a Torchlight Chess tourney for your entertainment at dusk.

A volunteer raffle is open to all who wish to make this event a success. For every two hours of volunteer work receive a ticket and enter the raffle drawing for prizes donated from across the lands. The drawings will be held at closing court. Sign up for gate, constabulary, water bearer, castle and site setup.

Site Info: Riverglenn Farms, 14715 South Fork Rd E, Orting, WA 98360 .With numerous spigots througout the site, there is plenty of potable water. The site opens at 1pm on Friday for merchants, 3pm for general populace, and closes at 5pm on Sunday. Site fee :$12, $8 for 17 and under, $35 family cap. $8 day fee. Non-member surcharge of $3 is in effect.

From the North: Take SR167 south to the SR410 exit. Take SR410 to the Orting-SR162 exit. Turn right onto Highway 162 south towards Orting. The entrance to Riverglenn is approximately 4 1/2 miles from the SR410 – SR162 interchange, a little past Macmillan Industrial Park. The entrance is a poorly marked paved/dirt road on the right just before the Puyallup river bridge. If you cross the bridge over the river, you’ve gone too far! Signs will be posted from the SR410-SR162 interchange.

From the South: Take I-5 to SR 512. Follow SR512 to the merge with SR167 north, stay to the right following SR167 a short distance to the exit to SR410. Take SR410 to the Orting-SR162 exit. Turn right onto Highway 162 south towards Orting. The entrance to Riverglenn is approximately 4 1/2 miles from the SR410 – SR162 interchange, a little past Macmillan Industrial Park.
