Picnic

Cragmere Anniversary Event – May
29, 2004

Come Picnic with us, the Shire of Cragmere, at Beautiful Kin
Beach Provincial Park on Saturday, May 29/2004.

Fighting
We will have defile battles on the Beach, “bar” Brawls in the
picnic shelter, and all manner of mayhem throughout the
day.

Bring armor – – – Bring fencing gear – – – Bring Boffer
equipment
Bring friends to fight with!!!

The populace can also fight. We are having a
“Peasants’ Weapons” Melee – Bring the
peasants’ weapon of your choice (made out of foam only).

Prize for the most imaginative foam weapon.
(Think pillow fights, folks; no one will be wearing
armor!)

Lessons for the Nouveau Peasant
Skills needed for your new lifestyle

  • – Sheep tossing
    (practice liberating those sheep!)
  • – Races of all types (practice escaping the sheep’s
    previous owner!)
  • – Relay races (practice tossing the evidence when
    confronted by NOBLES!)
  • – High jump (practice leaping those fences!)

Let’s play nice!! )
Dancing!
Friday night bardic at Lady Reann’s
encampment!

Greyhouse will be selling, in keeping with our theme,
Meat Pasties left over from previous event –
day old prices!!! ($1.00 per pasties) And hot from the oven!
And Coffee and Tea.

site info below. If you wish to camp, register with the
campsite. (There are 18 vehicle-accessible campsites at Kin
Beach Park. Reservations are strongly recommended. Some
of us are arriving on Friday and staying until
Sunday!

Camping fee is $9 per site (holding one
camping party) per night. (No taxes. Cash only; no debit
cards or credit cards. Pay upon arrival.) A camping party
consists of no more than four people, or a proper family (two
adults and their minor children). Preregistering at this park
free!
