YOU ARE HEREBY INVITED TO CONTEST FOR THE HONOR AND GLORY
OF BEING A CHAMPION OF AQUATERRA!

 

FRIDAY:
Are for those who wish to set up early for the weekend’s events. Site fees for SCA members are $6.00 for adults age 16 and up, $4.00 ages 5-15, 4 and under free. Non-members add $3.00. Proof of SCA membership is required for the reduced fee to apply. Make checks payable to Barony Of Aquaterra, SCA, Inc. Gate opens at 3:00 PM Friday and closes at 5:00 PM Sunday. Merchant, camping and RV space is available. Camping and merchant space is free. RV’s pay $10.00 per night. Please contact Baroness Arianne Of Falconmoors for camping & feast reservations. Contact the autocrat for merchant reservations. This is a discreetly wet site. Period containers only. All SCA and mundane pet laws apply.

 

SATURDAY TOURNAMENTS:
Archery:  Royal rounds and novelties’.
Arts & Sciences: Minimum one art entry and one science entry (no theme).
Bardic:  3 entries. Creative project, Demonstration of reserch & knowledge, and a Performance.
Games:  Overall winner in Mancala, 12 Man Morris and Chess.
Heavy Fighting: Under 10 fighters Round Robin/Over 10 Double Elimination.
Rapier:  Under 10 fighters Round Robin/Over 10 Double Elimination. Single sword and case only.
Thrown Weapons:  Highest overall score in axe, knife and spear.

 

Tournament Rules: Anyone may compete. Those that wish to become a Champion of Aquaterra must swear either an oath of friendship or an oath of Fealty to Baron Andreu and Baroness Fiamma. The Baron and Baroness of Aquaterra hold dear those who are in fealty to them and welcome those who are bonded in friendship with them.
 
Rules may change prior to Tournaments.
Please contact the appropriate Baronial Officers for more information. Loaner gear will be available for most competitions.

 

SATURDAY EVENING:
Will be our grand feast in a Northern Italian style prepared by our charming Lord Gregor of Aquaterra who is one of our finest chefs here in Aquaterra. Seating is limited to 140 so early purchase of tickets is highly recommended. Feast hall opens at 5:30 PM and starts at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $10.00 adults ages 13 and up, $5.00 ages 5-12, 4 and under free.

DIRECTIONS:
From I5 North or South take the Stanwood/Camano Island Exit #212 and head west on SR 532.  Drive approximately 4.3 miles to first traffic light and turn left onto 72nd Ave NW. Drive another 8/10 of a mile to first stop sign and turn left onto Pioneer Hwy. The Fairgrounds entrance is 4/10 of a mile ahead and will be on your left into the large grass covered parking lot. The second left entrance is for loading and unloading only. Watch for signs’.
