The Barony of Three Mountains & the Shire of Dragons Mist
Invite you to attend a Yuletide Celebration & Feast
Saturday December 6, 2003 Barony of Three Mountains –
Portland, OR Yule Feast!!! Make merry with the Barony of
Three Mountains and the Shire of Dragons Mist for a
light-hearted Yuletide Celebration of Grace and Courtesy.
Bring your most courtly manners, witty speech and your sense
of humor for our day of noble amusements. The gallant art of
the Rapier will entice you with a marshalling class, a
Phoenix tourney for new rapier fighters and an Authorized
Tournament for the more advanced. There will be classes all
morning to learn the graceful art of dancing needed for the
Grand Ball in the evening. Games will be on hand to polish
your courteous behavior in the arts of strategy and luck. The
Muse of Music must be pleased as well with some caroling
practice and musical entertainments. Gold Key will be on hand
for the new, and Pied Piper will help to entertain the
younger set during the day. The Potluck: A finger food
potluck is the order of the day. (Think cocktail party hors
d’oerves) There will be no set feasting tables to dine at,
but instead, plenty of room to mingle and nibble so keep your
feasting gear to a minimum. At most bring your plate and a
drinking vessel, your napkin and possibly a utensil (nothing
to cut up and no soups) For the potluck contribution, bring
pre-divided or individual bite-sized servings for 15-20 and
don’t forget to include an index card with the ingredients
list for those that have allergies. Graceful and entertaining
names are encouraged and will be rewarded. Our Feast-o-crat
will prepare a chicken, a beef and a vegetarian main dish as
well as bread and butter. Coffee, tea and cider will also be
available. Crock pots are ok as we have lots of plug in
space. Bring all of the serving ware you need for your
contribution and don’t forget to bring a baggie to pack home
the dirty dishes. Site is dry. Recommended Potluck
