Avacal Fall Ithra
Barony of Montengarde
October 25-26, 2003.

The Barony of Montengarde invites all to attend a Grand Ithra being held by the University of Ithra, Avacal Campus on Saturday October 25 and Sunday October 26, 2003 (AS XXXVIII). Two streams of classes will emphasize “hands-on” and “how to do it” topics and a third will cover core required Ithra classes. Catalogues are available on-line and in print form from the Chancellor. This invitation also extends to a marvelous feast on Saturday evening.

Event Site: Classes and the Feast will be at the Rehabilitation Society of Calgary Hall, #7 11th Ave. NE. Calgary, Alberta. Directions: From Highway 2: Take Deerfoot Trail to Memorial Drive. Turn West onto Memorial Drive and take the Zoo exit (first right). Take the next 2 lefts to get onto McDougall road. Then take the 2nd left onto 7th Street NE. The hall is at the end of the road on the right. From East or West of Calgary: Take 16th Ave. (highway #1) to Deerfoot. Take Deerfoor South to Memorial Drive and proceed as above.

Deadline for Ithra reservations is Sunday October 19, 2003. Registration for Ithra will be available at the site for classes where space is still available and if the instructor allows it. If registering for classes by email, please provide mundane name, telephone number, where you can be reached and what classes you plan to take.

Feastocrat: Master Mordecai Salzer invites all to enjoy some of the delectable delights he will be preparing. The feast will be limited to 100 tickets.; email rslansky1@shaw.ca. For those with allergy concerns, all ingredients will be posted.

Autocrat: Isabel the Flaming. Deadline for pre-purchase of feast tickets is Sunday October 19, 2003 or when all tickets are sold. Costs:
Site Fee: $6.00
Feast: $7 for adults. $3 for children 6-12 years old, under 6 years of age eat free. Bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank and receive $1 off your feast cost.
Ithra Registration: $5.00
Ithra Matriculation Fee: $2.00 (one time only to 1st time Ithra students.)
Classes: Class fees range from $2 to $20, each depending on handouts and course materials.
Non-Member Surcharge: $4.00 (for those adults without membership).
