Come! Join the Barony of Glymm Mere for a weekend of fun at our new 100+ acre site! Activities include heavy and rapier tournaments, archery, Dragons Laire Equestrian Championship, Gryphons Heart Championship, Children’s Archery Tourney, Madrone’s Sergeants Trials, a Sunday morning pancake breakfast, skillet toss, and many more activities. Archers, take note! Vulkanfeldt will be bringing targets for our use.

Site Info: Event will be at Northwest Equestrian Center (NWEC) on Hwy 507 in Rainier (no street address available). Gate opens 2 p.m. Friday, Aug 23, and closes 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug 25. This is a primitive site, bring your own water. No ground fires or tiki torches allowed. Dogs must be on leashes and under owner’s control at all times. Merchanting on Merchants Row only, space is pre-registered. Cost: $12 members, $15 non-members, $5 ages 12 and under, $35 family cap members, $45 cap non-members, mundane families only. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc.

Directions: Coming from north of Olympia, take Exit 109 (Martin Way). Turn right on Martin Way then immediately left at the first intersection, College Street. Continue on College Street past Yelm Hwy, where College turns into Rainier Rd. Stay on Rainier Rd for 15 miles, until you reach the stop sign at Binghamton Rd (Hwy 507). Turn right, continue for approx 1.5 miles. Turn right into NWEC. Coming from south of Olympia, take exit 88. Head East (toward and through Tenino) for 14.7 miles. NWEC will be on the left. NOTE: Gate is in the office. Park by gate, go into office to sign in and pay.
