Arts & Sciences Championship

Rules for Lord Defender for Arts for 2002
It’s that time of year again. Lord Defender’s is upon us and it will be time
to choose a new Arts & Sciences Defender. All artisans and scientists are
urged to enter.

All entries must be personna specific.
1. Full garment and all Accouterments.
a. This can be a tourney outfit. It can also be a garment for someone
other than yourself. However, it must include everything, underwear, shoes,
etc. It must be something your personna would have done if it is not for you.
2. A 2 Dimensional Project
a. This can be paper work such as calligraphy or illumination, embroidery or
embellishment. Anything put down, laid, or whatever onto something else.
b. If you can think of a creative way to enter, that’s OK too.
c. Research Papers are a good choice.
3. A 3-dimensional Project
a. This can be culinary, either one item or a group of items such as a
dessert or a small repast. It can also include brewed items. Other ideas are:
wood working, jewelry making, etc.
4. Bardic Entry
a. This can be anything at all, music, dance, poetry, theater, etc.

To participate in this competition: One item per category; Documentation is
Very Necessary; A letter of intent to the Baroness no later than May Crown
