Greetings and Salutations one and all!
Once again the frost is beginning to melt and it is time to pull the armor
out from under the winter’s projects and come to the field for the first war
of the season for An Tir. The tavern will open with minimal service at noon
and full service beginning shortly after the last battles. Rapier fighters,
there will be a Tourney by Insult at the tavern starting at 6 p.m. to help
provide entertainment for the patrons of our establishment. Merchants,
while the Lords war, the Ladies will want to shop, come help them spend
their Lord’s money at the field and then bring a peddler’s pack to the
tavern. Bards, have you a new ballad, an epic poem, or a tale of woe that
needs to be tried out, between bouts of the rapier combatants, the stage
could be yours. And all of this is covered by your *single* site fee! Yes!
One fee and we give you bruises, shopping, entertainment, and feed you!

With pleasure, we greet the blessed Spring Thaw by offering to you the First
Outdoor War of the season. War towers will be raised that fighters may
gather to lovingly avenge themselves, one upon the other. After the day’s
fighting, appease your hunger, by dropping in at our Tavern. Eat at your
own leisure, watch or compete in the Indoor Rapier Tournament, join
impromptu gaming contests, be entertained or become the entertainment.
Ambergard shall provide food and non-alcoholic refreshment. Bring your
feast gear, candles and game boards and also BYOB. Adults $7.00, 11-16
$4.00, 10 and under are Free. Merchants are most welcome, with no extra
fee and please bring your peddlers sacks to the Tavern Hall in the evening.
Crash space available upon request.

War Site: Ephrata Middle School, 384 A St. SE, Ephrata, WA. Site opens
March 9th at 10:00am and closes the same day at 7:00pm. Take your best route
into Ephrata onto our main-drag Basin Street. From the South and East, turn
right and from the North turn left at the stoplight onto 3rd Ave SE. Cross
over the railroad tracks and make an immediate right-turn onto A St. SE.
Take the first left onto Middle School Road, veer to your right to go around
the school to the rear parking-lot next to the open field. Those coming
from the East – DO NOT turn into Ephrata at the new Wal-Mart. War Site is
wholly Dry – although the feast site is wet
