AMERGIN’S REVENGE Bardic Gathering October 20-21, 2001 Sky
Camp, Fall Creek, OR Bardic Prize Competitions in: Original
Poetry, Traditional Poetry, Storytelling, Vocal Song,
Instrumental music, group performance, and miscellaneous
(jugglers, dancers, etc.). Also prizes for Best New Bard,
Mob’s Choice, and Best Overall Bard. Bardic competitors may
enter 4 contests in any combination. Group performances
(other than a vocalist plus accompanist) are separate. To
compete for Best Overall Bard or Best New Bard, you must
enter a poetry, musical, and storytelling with your 4th entry
in any category. Source documentation good for bonus points
and is strongly recommended. Also, after Saturday evening’s
feast, there will be a sponsored contest for flattery in
honor of Her Highness Megan Windemere, Princess of the
Summits. A variety of classes will be offered in craft
techniques at a nominal cost for materials. Share techniques
and experiences, tricks and sources with fellow makers. If
you are interested in teaching a class, contact the Autocrat.
PREREGISTRATION: Full fee per person includes bunk space in a
warm cabin, Saturday night’s delectable feast, and Sunday’s
breakfast. Cabin space is limited to 164 beds. There will be
tent camping or day tripping available with a seating limit
of 250 for feast. The site is DRY and no smoking is permitted
on site. No pets. Site opens on Saturday, October 20 at 9 am
with competitions starting at noon. DIRECTIONS: From I-5 take
exit 188 (Hwy. 58) to Lowell. At covered bridge turn left,
over Dexter reservoir. Go through Lowell, turn left at stop
sign (Main Street). At next stop sign (Moss Street) turn
right. Go 2 miles to next stop sign and turn right. Go 1/3
mile to fork, take right onto Winberry Road. Go 4 miles then
turn left on Peninsula Road. Continue until you see the turn
into Sky Camp on the left. For more information contact the
