All Fools 2019, Sunday, April 7th, 2019
The Shire of Corvaria extends an invitation to all good gentles to join us in the merriment of our All Fools event. We will have a silly heavy combat tournament where fun and foolishness will be favored over martial prowess. Come vie to become either Corvaria’s Bardic champion or our Arts & Sciences champion. Then join us in our potluck feast and open bardic performances.
Competitions:
Shire A&S Championship (Current Champion: Ragna Brandulfsdottir)
Documentation is not required, but a note about the submission indicating what an item is, why it was made, and what is was used for is encouraged. At least one item must be submitted but more may be included in the display. Populace to judge via the beans in the bowl. Ties to be decided by picking a number. Ragna will be supplying a prize.
Shire Bardic Championship (Current Champion: Temperance Trewelove)
The format is “Bring your Best”. Please prepare two pieces to share. A panel of judges will be selected from those in attendance. No documentation will be required, but will be considered a bonus if included.
Pandy Bat: (Armored Combat)
This will be a SILLY combat… Prepare to battle it out amid giggles and cheer, so you can be our Pandy Bat Champion!
Corvaria’s Greatest Fool!
Dress as your favorite Fool, do a skit, immortalizing your favorite Fool… well, BE foolish!! This is the greatest of all competitions, and the Greatest Fool will receive the Fool’s Trophy!
We will be hosting a Potluck Feast to begin at approximately 4:30pm. Dish contributions requested by last name below. Please include a card with the ingredients!
