The Canton of Silverhart is once
again looking for its champions. There will be competition in
Archery, Throwing Weapons, Bardic, Games, Siege cooking, Arts and
Sciences, Rapier and Heavy Weapons. A champion will be chosen for
each area of competition with an overall champion chosen through
accumulation of points gained from each area of participation. Can
you do the Marathon? Participate in all areas of competition and be
among the elite few to do the endurance test. There will also be
activities for children, and parents are encouraged to come and let
their children have some fun. This is an opportunity for the kids
to participate, not a baby-sitting service. Merchants are welcome
to sell their wears.

You can bring your pets, but the SCA
leash rules are in effect for the event. There are horses around
the camping area, please leave them alone. There is no running
water on site, pack in your water. Camp fires are allowed if no
burn ban is in effect at the time of the event. There will be RV
spots but there are no hook ups, Tams Traveling Toilets can empty
your septic tanks for $40.00 when they pick up biffies.

There is a creek on site so keep an
eye on the smalls, there isn’t much shade at this site come
prepared with your shades and sun block. Wall Ridge Road is a very
narrow road which at some points is a one lane road, please be very
careful coming and going to the event.

At the gate, each person will
receive 3 coins, whoever has the most coins at closing court will
win the prize. You can trade, barter, give away, and win coins
throughout the event.

The siege cooking event will be a
royal breakfast, ingredients will be handed out Sunday morning.
Participants will have 3 hours to complete their meals. Point will
go for taste, portion, and appearance.
