The
Shire of False Isle invites you to come join us for a relaxing fun
event.
For
Rapier and Heavy Combat we offer an open field, wooded glens and A
REAL COVERED BRIDGE! And there may even be a BUNNY
HUNT!
For
Archers we offer targets and the ever popular Ravine
Shoot
There
may be other activities!
The
Sugar Fairy will attend to Merchant
food!
We have
even reduced the gate fee!
Gate
will open at noon Friday July 7 (if you would like to come and set
up your encampment Thursday July 6 please contact the event steward
in advance)
Registration:
Adults – $15, under 19 no charge. SCA Members will get a $5
discount. Make cheques payable to “The Shire of False
Isle”.
SITE
INFO: Craig Park, 8515 Craig Rd., Powell River, BC V8A 4Z3. Site
opens 12noon on Friday and closes at 2pm on Sunday. Fires must be
above ground and smoking in designated areas only. There is no
potable water on site so please bring your own. There is limited
space for RVs (no hookups), so please contact the autocrat.
Merchants are welcome and pay only their site fee, but must contact
the autocrat to reserve a space. Pets are welcome, but must be
leashed at all
times.

DIRECTIONS: For all areas except Vancouver Island, make your best
way to Vancouver BC. From Vancouver BC, take the ferry from
Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. Drive approximately 1.5 hours, easy
driving time, to Earl’s Cove ferry terminal. Take the ferry to
Saltery Bay. Coming off the ferry follow Highway 101 heading north
towards Lund BC for 51.5 km, turn right at Craig Road and SCA sign,
then left into Craig Park.
Note: There are two ferries to get to Powell River from Vancouver,
but you only pay for one.
From the Vancouver Island (Comox) ferry, go straight off the ferry
to Marine Avenue (2 blocks). Turn left at the light, follow Highway
101 north towards Lund BC for 19.8 km, turn right at Craig Road and
SCA sign, then left into Craig Park.
