Her
Excellency, HL Kara Bjornsdottir, invites the populace to join her
and the Sergeants of Wealdsmere at this year’s Sergeantry
Trials.

This year we
have two candidates who shall be tested to determine if they
are worthy of the rank of Sergeant of Wealdsmere.
 Candidate’s merit in skill at Arms, combat tactics, SCA
armor and combat standards, heraldry, courtesy, medieval
entertainments, history and expression of noble virtues will be
tested throughout the day.

Members of the
Populace are welcome to participate in the weekend’s events,
including feasting, testing, dancing, games, bardic, and
Court.

Past and
current members of the Sergeantry are encouraged to dig out their
Sergeantry trials A and S displays and present them to the A and S
table for display and a hearty laugh.  

Today also is
a remembrance time for our dear Sister Sergeant Tabitha (Melinda
Robinson) who passed away last year.  Her husband will be in
attendance for the afternoon.  If you have words, a token or
wish to display any of her work you were gifted with please bring
to display. 

 

Please all
bring tables, chairs, a lunch, drinking vessels, non-alcoholic
beverage and food gear to the event as there are none on
site. 

 

Merchants
Welcome:  please bring your own tables to display your
wares

 

Potluck
appetizer dinner

Each adult in
attendance please bring your favorite appetizer food based upon
your birthday month that will serve at least 10 persons.
