Greetings Tir Righ, June is fast approaching and so is
the time for choosing our Heirs!
This will be a glorious occasion and we hope as many of
you as is possible can attend this event.
The Tournament format for June Coronet will be a
traditional standard double elimination
tournament.
An Tir shield and weapon conventions will be in place
so all those who would vie for the right to sit
the
Storm Throne when it is passed please check your gear
and ensure it is in compliance.
The final will be a best of three.

The Shire of
Coill Mhor is very proud to be hosting the Tir Righ June Coronet
Tourney.
June 10th – June 12th 2016.
Please join their Highnesses Thorwulf and Wulfwyn as the finest
combatants in Tir Righ gather in the Shire of Coill Mhor
to face each other in honourable combat to choose who will take
their place upon the Storm Thrones.

The campsites are serviced with power and water. There are also
Camper and RV spaces.
There is a Gas Station and Liquor store in Lac La Hache as well as
a pizza place and a diner. 100 Mile has Save On foods. So does
Williams Lake

Bring your swimming costume as the event site is on a beautiful
lake…

three A&S classes.
1.Stick Weaving
Saturday 11am

and HL Topher MacKenzie
Sticking weaving has been dated as far
back as 4000 years (Mayans) and suggestion is that the Crusaders
brought this art form to Europe from the Middle East.
Stick weaving is a versatile art form using as few as two sticks up
to as many as you can comfortably hold depending on the width
required for the desired end use. Weaving is done either flat or
circular (tubular). Projects, for example, can include scarfs,
pouches, mug rugs and belts.
Stick weaving is an art form the can be carried in a pocket or
pouch easily retrievable whenever you have a few moments to spare.
In addition, it is probably the simplest version of warp/weft
weaving. It is also considered one of the most versatile weaving
techniques.
cost $5.00 Cost includes all materials, tools and patterns.

2. Intro Block Printing Process ( or
“What I learned from trying block printing )
Instructor – HL Asta Eriksdottir
Saturday 1pm
Basics (as I have learned from trial
and error ) for trying block printing an a technique for
embellishing fabric.
We will discuss supplies, fabrics, setting up, printing, and
cleaning up in detail, as well as dealing with issues sa they come
up. We will also be doing hands-on stamping, with some fabric,
paint, and stamp samples.

3. Kumihimo – Introduction
Instructors -HL Topher MacKenzie and HL
Taliesin ap Hafgan
Saturday 9am
Kumihimo, a Japanese form of braiding,
can be used to make any number of embellishments and accessories
from trim to various lacings. Students will learn three basic forms
of Kumohimo (1) flat (2) round and (3) square. Normally done on a
Marudai students will be taught to using a round slotted disk.
