Yule Feast, A Night in Byzantium

As the days begin to shorten, we are well reminded that the time
Yule is fast approaching. Yet we are also reminded that with this
happy time, we ready ourselves for the departure of our beloved
Baron Aedan and Baroness Alexandria.

Therefore, let the word go out far and wide that in honor of our
Lord and Lady and of the people of their lands, we gather this Yule
season to remember the happy times of this year and of their
tenure. Join us for merriment, contest of wit and sword. Join us in
the sharing of gifts and for a feast. Lastly, join us for the Final
Court of our dread lord, Aedan, Baron Three Mountains, and his
raven-haired lady, Alexandria, Baroness Three Mountains.

FIGHTING!

For those wishing to test their mettle and their steel, a heavy
tournament will take place. Champions of Three Mountains are
invited to make one last stand in defense of Her Excellency’s
honor against all challengers.

ACTIVITIES!

As is tradition there will be a games tournament. Also join us for
dancing in preparation for the upcoming Twelfth Night.

We will share a small gift exchange before court. Please make sure
all gifts are wrapped. ($10.00 cap please)

FEASTING!

There will be a potluck feast. Please plan on bringing a dish for
your party plus at least 10 adults, appropriate serving utensils,
and a 3×5 index card with a list of all ingredients.

S-Z – Side Dishes/veggies

The Barony will provide the main dish and
bread.

The site is discretely wet.

Event Schedule:

9:30 AM – Site Opens. Please take your potluck contributions
as soon as you arrive

10:30 AM – Lists and Armor Inspection open for the Armored
tournament

11:00 AM – Yule Tournament

TBD – Brewer contest (Feast Hall); Games tournament

1:00 – 2:30 Dance

3:30 PM – Gift Exchange

4:00 PM – The final court of Their Excellencies Three
Mountains, Aedan and Alexandria

5:30 PM Yule Feast

9:00 PM – Site Closes

Feast Fee: Adults $5; 17 and under Free

Make checks payable to Barony of Three Mountains, SCA Inc. You are
invited to remember those less fortunate at this time by making a
small donation of canned or packaged food at gate.
