Classes run 9am-6pm on Saturday and
Sunday with a lunch break from
1-2pm. 



The site opens each day at
8am, with classes starting at 9am.  Site will close at 7pm
each day.


Classes:


·        
Ithra will be
rolling out a new course – Introduction to SCA Life 1:
Getting Started.  This class is designed
for those new to the SCA and focuses on all of the information you
need to get started: what to wear, who’s who, what to bring
to an event, how to get more involved, what’s expected, and
how to find activities and how to deal with court, feasts, titles
and activities.  
This is a certificate
class.  At the end of this class you will receive a
Certificate of Completion.


·        
Hands-on classes
including Leatherworking, rectangular construction/coat making,
Veil making, Norse embroidery, Lampwork beading, Illumination,
Calligraphy, Silk banner painting, card weaving, and
more.


·        
Lecture classes
including Arthurian Legends, Norse Design for Embroidery and
Illumination, Tournaments for non-fighters, Persona development,
Heraldry, and more.



·        
Sunday will
include a day-long open session for heraldic consultation and
submissions


 


 

Food:


·        
Breakfast and
snack food/drink will be available by donation (thanks to the Shire
of Shittimwoode).


·        
Lunch will be
available for purchase on-site both days, $5/day per
person.


·        
Dinner
– On Saturday evening, a room has been reserved at the local
Denny’s for those who wish to socialize and get some
dinner.
