The Barony of Blatha An Oir invites you to take refuge from
the cold dark days at Winter’s End as we fill the feast hall
with candle light
and good cheer. This ancient holiday is also known as
Brigit’s Day, and so we
honor the Irish goddess and patron saint of smith craft, healing,
and poetic
inspiration with a Games Tournament, Scribal Contest and Charter
Painting, an
SCA Swap Meet, Baronial Court, a Potluck Feast, and a Bardic. This
year’s theme
is “Green” in anticipation of spring.
