conveniently located just off Highway 97 in Okanogan. Crown events
will take place on the north half of the fairgrounds. Site
amenities include a limited number of toilet and shower facilities,
as well as equine areas and RV hookups.

Weather in May is fair, with average highs
of 67 and average lows of 43 in Okanogan, the nearest town. Average
precipitation is 0.67. Site elevation is approximately 835ft (254
m), so prepare for bright days and cold nights.

No group camping reservations for this
event.  RV’s are welcome; hook ups
available (extra charge). Pre-registration for RVs is strongly
encouraged!

Site Rules

Updated 1 May AS 47

Participants shall not violate any state,
federal or local laws, nor commit any nuisance or damage upon the
premises. Illegal substance use and underage drinking will NOT be
tolerated and are grounds for IMMEDIATE removal from site and
notification of mundane authorities.

Comfort & Convenience

There is potable water on-site, also a limited
number of flushies and showers! Please reserve the latter for
fighters after the tourneys.

Garbage & Recycling

Recycling containers will be provided by
Green Okanogan, and volunteers will be on hand all weekend to sort
glass, plastic and aluminum beverage containers. Any non-recyclable
garbage must be packed out after Crown.

Pets

Pets are welcome; rigorous waste patrol is
required! Please do not leave your pets unattended, for their noise
may keep thy neighbours from their rest.

RVs

RV’s and trailers are welcome at May
Crown. The RV site is on the West side of the fairgrounds under
shade trees. Please reserve this area for the RVs!

Pre-registration for RVS is closed. A number
of hookups are available, and must be reserved and paid for in
advance. You will receive a placard to post indicating payment has
been received. Those who attempt to hook up without paying will be
asked to leave the site. If you have a trailer, please unhook it
and park your vehicle in the main parking lot. Please do not be
disappointed by arriving on site without making prior arrangements
with the RV Chair.

Equestrians

Equestrian participants are responsible for
cleaning up after their horses, and must leave stalls (if rented)
clean.

Safety & Consideration

Please be mindful of the Erics, equestrian
arenas, and archery range. Stay out of harm’s way and obey
the directions of marshals and event staff, for your own and
others’ safety.

NO GROUND FIRES. Fires allowed in
above-ground braziers only (18” or higher off the ground). Do
not leave fires unattended at any time.

QUIET HOURS are Midnight to 7am. Please – no
drumming or loud and boisterous revelry of any kind after midnight.
Quiet music, story-telling, and conversation are allowed.

Noblesse Oblige

non-perishable food drive to benefit the local food bank. Please
bring a donation or drop off extra non perishable food you
