A.S.
XLIV
Viscountess Natal’ia refuses to return to
Borealis to serve Toryn the Tyrant. Cynewulf pledges the
Huscarles to invade Cold Keep to compel her to comply.
Confident in the strength of the local levées and of
that of the WolfPack, Natal’ia refuses to submit. A
bloody battle ensues. The WolfPack beats back Toryn and the
fearsome Huscarles, but the damage is done. The spring
planting is disrupted and the populace of Cold Keep struggles
to repair the damage to their lands.

A.S. XLV
Having
survived a long, lean winter after a poor harvest from their
war-ravaged lands and fearing more reprisals from the
disappointed Viscount Toryn, the people of Cold Keep seek
sanctuary in a holy house for their annual spring
celebrations. Their fears are unfounded and they host their
neighbours in a day of competition and good fellowship. Each
cellar is searched, eaves are emptied and casks are upturned
as each lord and lady brings what leavings they can
spare to the Shire’s feast table. Lo! The table groans
under the weight of the food and the memory of the harsh
winter is banished in revelry and dance.

It is now A.S. XLVI, the winter snows are
gone and Cold Keep is once again holding
tournaments! All good gentles are invited to vie for the
honour of representing our fair Shire as Heavy, Rapier,
Archery, or Arts and Science Champion. There is something for
everyone, so come cheer on all worthy participants. This is a
two-day event to fit in all of the fun and
competitions!

More
information (including schedule) is coming
soon!
