Please bring your feast gear.  No candles please.

Dishes:

Four Cheese Lasagna with Meat
sauce  `  Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce and
Meatballs ~  Italian Herb-Roasted Chicken.

Adults please bring a potluck
contribution to serve 10-12, according to modern last
initial:

Druim Doineann Bardic
Championship:
 
Single entry, no set subject, no documentation required.
Competition will take place during the feast – see Master
James the Obscure to sign up.
Contestants must commit to attending three out of four Druim
Doineann events during their year as Champion if they win,
and to passing on the Bardic Sash to the next Champion.

Please limit performances to less than 6
minutes.


Druim Doineann Heavy Fighters
Championship:

All who wish to prove their worth on the
field of battle, come, bring your arms and armor and fight
for the right to be Druim Doineann’s Heavy Champion!
 
Our championship tournament has been moved to Holly and Ivy
this year and as in tradition will be hosted by last years
Champion.  This honor goes to HL Jahnkin de Leeuw and
the tournament is as follows:
 
Tourney at
high noon!
1st Round- Everyone must best me (Jahnkin de Leeuw) to fight
for Championship.
2nd Round- 33 minute Bear Pit. Hold the field and earn as
many wins as possible.
3rd Round- Finals. Top 2 fighters with most victories from Rd
2 fight best 2 of 3 with NO SHIELDS! You can use, Broad
swords, florentine, single sword.  Just No
shields!

 
If you are interested in being the Shire Champion the
requirements are:
 
1.  Be able to say and spell Druim Doineann. (Yes,
really)
2.  Be able to make at least half of our branches events
throughout your year as Champion.
3.  Be able to attend and lead the Shire of Druim
Doineann’s troops against the Barony of Dragon’s Laire at our
war at Hot Summer Lights.  (Which is a ton of fun!)
4.  If you are the Champion of the Shire we ask that you
come back next year to host the tournament of your choosing
to help bring in the new Champion.
5.  That over your term as Champion that you come 
toteach at least one practice throughout the year to help the
fighters within the Shire advance.
 
We are also having a “Nicest heavy legal shield
competition.”  If you have a shield you use that you are
really proud of, come to Holly and Ivy and “flaunt that
stuff!”  As you are fighting the populace will be voting
for their favorite shield and the winner will be determined
at the end of the tournament.


Fighter Training at Holly and
Ivy:

Baron Sir Aleksii Konstantinovich
Chernoi, Baron of Blatha An Oir, has agree to run a Heavy
Fighter training class after the tournament for all who wish
to learn.  Learn from one of the great Knights of An
Tir!

Champion of Blatha an Oir as well.  Learn what it takes
to be a Champion!
