Rivers Bend presents its
annual; ‘Irish Feast”

April 10 2010

@ the Kelso First United Methodist Church

Unto the fine populace of the Kingdome of An Tir:

Come join the goode folks of Rivers Bend on “De Nile’.
Like Kurdish General Saladin; in 1168 Saladin established his
presents in Egypt. We will re-experience Egypt of the time by
‘Horacing’ around with Bardic and A & S
competitions, Subtly, Pied-Piper activities, Egyptian games
and fighter workouts weather permitting.

Bardic
:

competition will be a bi-level event. Experience consisting
or people who have been in 7 or more competitions and the
novice being people who have competed in 6 or less events. The
following areas are open to entrants: vocal, instrumental and
story telling. There will be extra points awarded for theme
biased entries.

A &
S :

competition areas will be added when the coordinator
determines the subjects and areas. Extra points will be awarded

ability to be attractive to the visual pallet.

Accademia dei Studiosi will have a full day of class’
scheduled at the event as well. Class fees payable to the
Accademia staff, no site fee for class attendance only,
donations greatly appreciated however. The list of classes to
be announced and added at time of finalization.

 

Travelers lunch available for $3.00 to all attending. Dinner
will be a potluck by mundane last name as follows:

A-F: veggies/salads/side dishes; G-I: meats/main dishes; J-L:
soups/stews;
M-S: fruits/desserts; T-Z: breads/cheese. Please be kind and
adhere to this list and provide enough food for 8 to 10
adults. There is a good list to start with above in the
subtly suggestion section for Egyptian foods. Don’t shy
away from the Kurdish as well as it is in the theme mode as
well.
