Welcome all to the sixth Shire of Mountain Edge Defender
Tourney, where our next Armored, Youth Combat, Rapier, and
Arts and Sciences Defenders will be selected in this day of
combat, arts and sciences, and celebration of our past and
future Defenders. We are once again using the lower level of
the Newberg Masonic Lodge, the Newberg library annex (for
A&S) and the library lawn (for martial activities).
Informal bardic entertainment, medieval board games, and
tables/chairs for resting, visiting, and working on
projects will be in the main hall all day.

The detailed schedule is below.

A simple soup (vegetarian and meat options), bread and cheese
lunch buffet (pot luck contributions welcome), dessert, and
hot beverages and water throughout the day are included in
the site fee. The dessert selection will be served just prior
to the closing moot.

Site fee: $8 per person for everyone over age 17, age 12-17
$6, under 12 no charge. Additional $3 NMS fee applies to
anyone over age 17 without proof of SCA membership. Please
make checks payble to SCA Inc – Mountain Edge.

Entrants – Setup Begins (Library Annex)

10:00AM Pied Piper – Main Hall: Board Games and Coloring
Pages (until noon); Decorating Pots/Planting Seeds (until
11AM -limit 10)

10:30AM Invocation of the Lists – Heavy Armored Combat
Tourney (Library Lawn)

11:00AM Lunch buffet opens (Main Hall); Pied Piper –
Decorating Eggs/Making Head Wreaths (Main Hall – until noon);
A&S Judging Begins (Library Annex)

12:00 PM Pied Piper closes for lunch break; Armor Inspection
– Youth Combat (Library Lawn)

12:30 PM Invocation of Lists – Youth Combat Defender Tourney

1:00PM Armor Inspection – Rapier Defender Tourney (Library
